What we do?
We are award winning farmhouse cheesemakers who make cheese from our Flock of hand reared Lacaune Ewes and herd of Dairy Goats, we sell our cheese to a lovely selection of wholesalers, specialist shops and lovely restaurants. We have recently set up a farm shop to sell our cheese directly to the public and offer self guided cheese tours. Over the next couple of months we will be offering delicious cheese tasting short breaks from the Bothy at Errington Cheese.
You will enjoy working in a varied environment on our farm to help us develop the retail tourism side of our business alongside working in our farm cheese shop and helping visitors
Cheese shop; telling our story, helping people fall in love with our farm, the animals and our cheese. Tastings with customers, promotional ideas, social media, develop tours
·Online cheese sales, help us develop a new website and increase online sales, speak to customers on the phone, respond to emails, newsletters, promotional ideas
·Hampers, develop a hamper offering and system for Christmas with other locally produced goods.
·Visitors staying at the farm, welcome them, social media, promotion, organise cleaning, food packs, advise on where to visit.
Ideally you will have experience or a proven track record with:
Word, excel, power point, website updates etc
Social Media platforms, Facebook, ticktock, Instagram, twitter ability to engage with audience, create content and attract engagement and new followers.
Marketing
Comfortable in a managerial role as business develops.
Worked in the Food Industry and understand how it works
Ideally with a food safety qualification
This is a full time role and will include some weekend working. There may be opportunities for job share or part time roles for the right candidate
